OLA 2023 Giving Tree

Christmas is right around the corner, and we are preparing our hearts and our homes for the birth of Christ.  We must also look to our neighbors in need, and this year, our parish is continuing its longstanding tradition of the OLA Giving Tree.  Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a Giving Tree family.  We have received requests to help over 70 families with Christmas gifts this year!  Our suggestion is that someone adopt the whole family – OR a few people can share in that.  We will need one primary contact person to sign up for each family.

2023 OLA Giving Tree Sign-Up

To sign up, you will be prompted to create a Flocknote account or log in to your existing Flocknote account. If you need help signing up for a family, you can also email Casey Oliver at worship@olaparish.net and Peggy Stradford at peggystradford@icloud.com.  ALL gifts are due back by December 11th or before.  Before is better.  Once you sign up, clothing sizes and suggested gifts for the family you selected will be emailed to you.

If you aren’t able to sponsor a family, you can still help by taking a gift card tag from the Giving Tree that will be set up in the church starting the First Sunday of Advent, December 3rd.  Take a tag, purchase a gift card from Walmart or Target in any denomination, write the amount on the gift card, and bring the gift card to the parish office.  The gift cards will be used to either help shop for the families or to supplement the gifts the families receive.  We can also accept monetary donations of any amount to assist with the gift purchases for the families.  Checks can be written to St. Vincent de Paul, with "OLA 2023 Giving Tree donation" written on the memo line.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
