A Message from Our Pastor

Fr.eduino Silveira

I welcome you to Our Lady of the Assumption Parish on behalf of our staff and the whole faith family.

Our Lady of the Assumption is truly a faith-filled, loving community that strives to listen and follow Jesus Christ who gathers us to share in His love and salvation.

We invite you to worship with us on a regular basis and become actively involved in the Parish. Our website includes information about our Mass times as well as ways you may become Stewards of your Time, Treasure and Talents. We hope you will take some time to explore our site and ask that you contact the Parish Office if you would like more information on any of the items presented. Read More

Updated Mass Times/Locations

8:00 am daily Masses (Monday-Friday) will be located outside in the courtyard in front of the rectory.

The Saturday 5:00 pm Vigil Mass will be live streamed and closed to the public.  Click HERE to view the live stream Mass, where you can conveniently donate, view the worship aid and bulletin, and send us your prayer intentions.  The Mass will also be available to view throughout the weekend on our websiteYouTube channel, and Facebook page.

On Sunday, we will have outdoor Masses at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, and 7:30 pm.

  • The morning outdoor Masses will take place in the courtyard area between the classroom wings of the school.  The 7:30 pm Mass will take place in front of the rectory behind the church office.
  • For the morning Masses, we will open the blacktop area near the St. Vincent de Paul Food Locker (blacktop playground) for parking.  If you park in the regular parking lot on Walnut Ave, you may enter through the gate between the Parish Hall and school building.
  • Folding chairs on racks will be placed at the entrance to the courtyard, and we would ask that participants practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet in choosing where to sit.  Families, of course, may sit together.  Chairs are disinfected at the end of each Mass.  Please feel free to bring your own chairs.
  • Face masks are required for those ages 2 and older unless you have a medical exemption.  We will provide a face mask for you if you need one.
  • We will continue to collect information for contact tracing purposes.
  • The congregation is asked to not sing or chant during the Mass.  The cantor alone will provide song during the Mass.
  • If you are sick or feel unwell, please stay home.  Dispensation from Mass is still in effect for all of the faithful.

Essentially, being Catholic is a heavenly gift intended to allow us to become fully human, fully alive, fully invested with the beauty of our awesome God!
