Friday, August 15th is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and our parish feast day! It is a holy day of obligation. Masses will take place at 8:00 a.m. (OLA School faculty will be participating in liturgical ministries) and at 5:30 p.m.
Following the 5:30 p.m. Mass, we will have a very special 75th anniversary parish feast day dinner in Affinito Hall. Doors will open at approximately 6:30 p.m., after the 5:30 p.m. Holy Day Mass. Dinner will be served after Fr. Eduino gives the blessing. The menu will include tri-tip, chicken, roasted potatoes, garden salad, and garlic bread. We will have a fundraising dessert auction and also serve Leatherby’s ice cream. All seats are currently reserved, but there is a wait list. There is no charge to attend the dinner, however if you would like to make a donation to defray the cost of the dinner, it would be appreciated. If it turns out you can't attend, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible to allow others on the wait list to be added. Thank you!

Our parish ministries and families have created a variety of themed gift baskets to raise money for our Parish Debt Reduction Fund. Bins will placed in front of each basket, and you can put your raffle ticket(s) in the bin or bins you want to try to win. The more tickets you purchase, the better chance you have of winning! The drawing for the gift baskets will take place after dinner. Raffle tickets are $2 each. When you buy five tickets, you get one extra ticket for free! Must be present to win. Tickets will be distributed as part of the check in process at the dinner. Any extra tickets (one free ticket per five tickets purchased) will be added at that time.
