"We cannot all do great things in this life, but we can do small things with great love." Saint Teresa of Calcutta
We are seeking volunteers who may be available to assist fellow parishioners. As our parish community adapts to the accelerating rates of coronavirus infection, also known as COVID-19, we want to help one another during this challenging time. What can we do? Small things with great love!
At this time, we need volunteers for the following:
- Telephone Buddies – Call homebound members of our parish to help alleviate the feeling of isolation and to assess any needs they may have. Our Ministry of Small Things team can determine if we can offer assistance or if we can help connect parishioners to available community resources.
- Groceries and Meals – Pick up groceries and/or bring meals to parishioners who may need grocery/meal assistance. The County of Sacramento is permitting people to deliver food, grocery items, and cleaning products to others.
If you are available to volunteer, or if you wish to request assistance for yourself or someone you know, please call the parish office at (916) 481-5115 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your generosity and prayers during this time!
