Catholic in Recovery

Catholic in Recovery is a nonprofit organization that seeks to serve those suffering from addictions and unhealthy attachments. 

Our Lady of the Assumption is pleased to offer this ministry to all who need gentle support from substance dependency, food, sexual integrity, control, anxiety, gambling, or any other unhealthy attachment.  

Meeting Information

Each meeting focuses on the week's Gospel and 12-step recovery principles.  Meetings are held via web conferencing every Thursday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm PST.

“Through Catholic in Recovery, people can admit, ‘I am powerless over this thing, I have tried to stop this, I need God to help me,’” Jenny says. “This program is 12 steps and it is extremely spiritual. Unlike other programs, in Catholic in Recovery, we talk about Mary and the Holy Spirit.”
