As a part of the Winter Respite program, OLA has committed to serve our local homeless neighbors on Wednesday, February 4th and Wednesday, February 25th. We will serve at Congregation Beth Shalom on 4746 El Camino Avenue, Carmichael, CA 95608. Winter Respite is a program of the non-profit Carmichael Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART). We will need 12 volunteers on each day to serve different shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The shifts include cooks, greeters, servers, and hosts. The services we will provide include a hot breakfast, coffee, a bag lunch, and cots.
