Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Your love for Christ draws you to the Eucharist. Your love for the Church draws you to liturgical service.

As an extraordinary minister, you are integral to the sacramental sharing that is the highlight of the Mass. You assist the priest and deacon (the Ordinary Ministers) in the distribution of Holy Communion. Good extraordinary ministers take their spiritual growth seriously. They have a rich prayer life and a deep reverence for the Blessed Sacrament.

Men and women (at least 16 years of age) who are fully initiated Catholics (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) are invited to participate as extraordinary ministers of holy communion for the community.

For more information or to volunteer for service, please contact Deacon Paul Friedrich at 481-5115 or deaconpaul@olaparish.net.
